We're delighted to welcome Esbi Reclame as a new customer and are excited about this partnership! In addition to paper, wood, and residual waste, Esbi also collects Dibond sheets separately. These lightweight sheets are printed with advertising material. They consist of two aluminum outer layers with a plastic core layer in between. Recycling Dibond is a challenge, but at Waardlanden, we can separate the plastic from the aluminum and recycle them separately.
Pieter-Jan van de Steenoven, director at Esbi, emphasizes: "We're aware of our waste production and try to reuse or recycle as much material as possible. For example, we return the holders that hold the rolls of printed film to the supplier, and we investigate whether we can reuse the backing sheet for the printed film. Separately collecting and recycling Dibond panels significantly reduces residual waste. This is not only better for the environment but also saves on waste disposal costs."
