You can dispose of your food scraps, vegetable, fruit, and garden waste (organic waste) for free in the organic waste collection containers in your area. You can open the container with your recycling pass. Do you want to use bags? Only compostable bags with the Kiemplant logo or OK-compost logo are accepted with the organic waste.

Dispose of PMD and residual waste together

Dispose of your plastic packaging, metal packaging, and beverage cartons (PMD) along with your residual waste in the residual waste collection container. This waste is collected separately and later sorted by machines. You can open the container with your environmental pass. Residents of the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden do not have to pay separately for this. Less residual waste is better for the environment and your wallet.

Collection container for glass in the neighborhood

All glass packaging, such as bottles and jars, should be disposed of in the glass recycling bin in your neighborhood or at a shopping center. Caps and lids can remain on; they are separated from the glass at the factory. Make sure the packaging is empty. Small amounts of residue are also fine. Rinsing is therefore not necessary.
