To the recycling center
Are broken items truly beyond repair or use? Then you can take them to the recycling center with your recycling pass. You can also bring items that don't belong in the container or don't fit there as often as you like.
Most of it always comes to you for free
Even after multiple visits, you always bring the following raw materials free of charge:
- Asbestos
- Baby diapers
- Tires
- Chemical waste
- Electrical devices
- Frying fat and oil
- Gas bottles
- Glass (colored and white)
- hard plastic
- Mattresses
- Metal
- Paper and cardboard
- Styrofoam
- Textile
- Flat glass
When do you pay a fee?
For bulky garden waste, rubble, wood, plaster, and bulky household waste, the first three collections are free per year. After that, residents of Gorinchem, Hardinxveld-Giessendam, and Molenlanden pay a fee for these waste streams. This is only possible by debit card, which is safer. Residents of Vijfheerenlanden do not have to pay separately; the municipality will decide on this later.

Dispose of residual waste at the recycling center
Do you want to take bags of residual waste to the recycling center? You can, but you should dispose of fine residual waste bags in the underground residual waste container at the recycling center, just like in your neighborhood. You pay the same rate for this as for the residual waste container in your neighborhood.

By loading your car or trailer smartly, you can unload faster. Make sure similar types of materials are stored together. - Don't forget your environmental pass

Borrow a trailer for free
Got a lot to take away? Or do you want to take it away whenever it suits you? Borrow a trailer from Waardlanden for free. You can use the trailer for a maximum of two hours. This makes cleaning up and taking it to the recycling center much easier.
