You are welcome at the Hardinxveld-Giessendam waste disposal site with the Waardlanden environmental pass. Without a pass, you cannot visit the waste disposal site.

What you can bring away here

• Waste
  Are broken items beyond repair or use? Or do you have items that do not belong or fit in the container? Then you can bring these to the environmental centre as often as you like using your environmental pass.
• Small chemical waste (kca)
  Small chemical waste (MSW) is waste containing substances that are hazardous to health and the environment. This includes chemicals that are toxic, flammable or otherwise harmful.
• Recyclable goods
  Next to the entrance is a container in which you can put your belongings. Recycling Gorinchem manages this container. They work intensively with circular workshop The Companion. Furniture pieces with minor defects are therefore also welcome.
• Reusable building materials
  There is a container for reusable building materials, such as a sealed bucket of latex, full packs of bathroom tiles or laminate or a window frame without glass. Waardlanden works with local organisations that are happy to use these building materials.

What you can't take away from here

• Soil and sand
  • Small amounts of potting and garden soil can be safely disposed of with the kitchen and garden waste.
  • For larger quantities of sand, soil and (garden) earth, there are special companies that take these materials, inspect and purify them for reuse.
