Crowds at environmental centres

It is regularly very busy at the environmental centres. Then a queue may form and you may have to wait before you can enter the waste disposal site. For the safety of you, other visitors and our staff, not too many visitors are allowed on the site at once. Our staff decide how many. Please note: in case of extreme traffic and a long queue, we may close the queue half an hour before the regular closing time.

Method and regulations

For your and our safety, there are rules for visiting the environmental centres.

> Find out more about how the waste disposal centres work

At the Ecopark, we give as many goods and materials as possible a second chance. At the waste disposal area, there is a special area where you can neatly put your things that could get a 2nd chance. In the workshop, people who need a helping hand work under supervision to repair or make up as many goods as possible, such as furniture. Of course, you can take back your repaired items yourself for a small fee. We sell donated items in the regional thrift shops or in the webshop of De Gezel.
