Did you know that in the Netherlands, we never eat a quarter of all our food? All that food is grown, processed, transported, cooled and warmed. We put a lot of energy into it. It is a shame if we waste energy and raw materials by throwing away food unnecessarily. You too can help prevent food waste!

Download our handy app. This way, you always have all waste information to hand. And you know exactly when your container is due at the road and where what type of waste is allowed.

Deep-frying fat, cooking oil and fatty gravy are recycled if they are handed in separately. You can hand it in at one of our environmental centres. Some supermarkets, DIY shops, recycling shops and (sports) clubs also have special collection containers for deep-frying fat and cooking oil.
