Bringing waste and raw materials free of charge
You can bring the following raw materials separately to the waste disposal site as often as you like. You do not have to pay separately for this: asbestos, baby nappies, tyres without rims, chemical waste (CDW), electrical appliances, frying oil, gas bottles, glass (colour and white), hard plastic, mattresses, metal (iron), paper and cardboard, polystyrene foam (eps), textiles and flat glass.
Tariff for bulky waste
Since 1 January 2024, a fee applies for: bulky garden waste, rubble, clean wood, impregnated wood, gypsum/cellular concrete, bitumen (roofing leather) and bulky household waste. You pay directly at the gate to one of our employees. For your and our safety, you can only pay by PIN.
Do you live in the municipality of Gorinchem, Hardinxveld-Giessendam or Molenlanden? Then the first 3 visits per year free with one or more of these wastes. From the fourth visit, the fee applies.

Residents of Vijfheerenlanden will not have to pay separately to take away bulky waste. This municipality will decide later on the introduction of these fees.

Additional information
At the Ecopark, we give as many goods and materials as possible a second chance. At the waste disposal area, there is a special area where you can neatly put your things that could get a 2nd chance. In the workshop, people who need a helping hand work under supervision to repair or make up as many goods as possible, such as furniture. Of course, you can take back your repaired items yourself for a small fee. We sell donated items in the regional thrift shops or in the webshop of The Companion.

Every second and fourth Saturday of the month, from 9.30am to 11am, you can attend small chemical waste (kca) offer. View offer conditions and tips here. You can also frying fat at the waste disposal site.
The Kringloopplein is the collection point for discarded items in the region. You can bring furniture, electrical appliances or a bicycle here, for example. Or other things you want to get rid of that are good enough for a second life. Everything is sorted and, if possible, refurbished to be sold again in the recycling shop. We also accept small quantities of reusable building materials. And you can have a broken appliance repaired at the repair café in the Kringloopplein.

Thrift-worthy goods can be brought to the environmental street in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Right next to the entrance to the environmental street is a container in which you can put your items. Recycling Gorinchem manages this container. They work intensively with circular workshop The Companion. Furniture pieces with minor defects are therefore also welcome.
