Do not use (bio)plastic bags
Do not put VGF waste in plastic bags, because then they cannot be made into compost. Also, bags made of bioplastic do not belong in the GFT container, as they take too long to break down and compost. Bioplastic is plastic made from vegetable waste instead of petroleum or gas. Only special, compostable VGF waste bags with the Kiemplant logo or OK-Compost logo and paper bags are allowed in the VGF waste, as they are a convenient tool for separating VGF waste.
