During the public holidays in April and May, all recycling centres and Kringloopplein are closed on: Monday 1 April - Easter Monday, Saturday 27 April - King's Day, Thursday 9 May - Ascension Day, Monday 20 May - Whit Monday. In case of extreme crowds, we may close the queue half an hour before closing time.

Every second and fourth Saturday of the month, you can offer small chemical waste from 9.30am to 11am. View offer conditions and tips here.
From 1 December 2023, you can also hand in frying fat at the environmental street.
The Kringloopplein is the collection point for discarded items in the region. You can bring furniture, electrical appliances or a bicycle here, for example. Or other things you want to get rid of that are good enough for a second life. Everything is sorted and, if possible, refurbished to be sold again in the recycling shop. We also accept small quantities of reusable building materials. And you can have a broken appliance repaired at the repair café in the Kringloopplein.
