In a number of places, our drivers cannot empty the containers due to snow. It is particularly troublesome in outlying areas, on steep roads and cul-de-sacs. If in your street the containers will not be emptied today, we ask you to bring your container back inside at the end of the day. In this way, we avoid inconvenience on the streets. Containers that cannot be collected today will be emptied on Tuesday 23 January. We therefore ask that containers be returned to the road before 7.30am on Tuesday morning.
Please note that this only applies to addresses where collection is not possible today due to snowfall and slipperiness. The catch-up day can only go ahead if the weather does allow it on Friday.
