On the first day in Circular Economy Week, Molenlanden municipality alderman Arco Bikker struck the first pile for the new environmental street in Groot-Ammers on Monday 7 February.

The driving of the first pile marks the start of the construction process. We expect to officially open and commission the new environmental street in the summer of this year. When opened, the environmental street will be one of the most modern in the Netherlands.
Unlike the current waste disposal site, there will be a raised platform. This will make it much more pleasant to visit the waste disposal site. Currently, it is not possible to bring small chemical waste. This will be possible in the new situation.
