You live in a flat, flat or upstairs flat in the built-up area or on the outskirts of the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden. You take your separated waste to nearby collection containers. In the near future, there will be changes around waste. Together with the municipality, we want to encourage and help residents to separate less waste and (even) better.

New GFT collection containers Even if you live in a flat, flat, upper flat or low-rise house without containers, you will soon be able to separate. Last year, we placed new GFT containers near flats and flats. At the end of October/beginning of November, you will receive an environmental card with which you can open the VGF container. You do not have to pay separately for this. |

Residual waste and PMD together In your flat, flat, upper flat or low-rise building without containers, you often have no or less space to keep waste properly separated. Then separating afterwards is better than not separating. We will do the same with your waste. That is why, during 2023, you may separate plastic packaging, metal packaging and throw away drink cartons (pmd) and residual waste together in the collection container for residual waste in your neighbourhood. You will receive an environment pass at the end of October/beginning of November 2023. Afterwards, the collection container for residual waste can only be opened with the environmental pass. As a resident of Vijfheerenlanden, you do not have to pay separately for this. The collection containers for PMD will disappear. |

Environmental pass for access to environmental centres You will receive an environmental pass in late October/early November 2023. You will need this from 1 December 2023 to access all our waste disposal points. As a resident of the Vijfheerenlanden municipality, you can visit the waste disposal site as often as you like. You do not have to pay separately for this. |
